FILK is not a typo or a misprint; it is a little known music genre even though it has been in existence for fifty years. Whether the name rose out of a misprint or whether it is a deliberate word-blend of Folk and the term Filch, who knows? (Translators Note: I am currently living with a Filker by the name of Heather Borean and I believe the term was an actual programme book misprint that everyone liked enough to keep.)

The stories for the new book of the Heroes-in-Hell-Anthology, titled "Adventurers in Hell" is almost ready. Many writers already know that they will "be in". Janet Morris herself is waiting with her story for the winner of the contest "Write a Person to Hell". Don't forget to enter - the contest closes Dec 23rd.
For the first time in the series, we will very likely have German authors among them.

Some news for German Filk Fans. Word was received today that Meg Davis, who was scheduled to be the Guest of Honor for FilKONtario 22 is unable to attend due to health problems. Everyone wishes Meg a speedy recovery.
The FilKONtario ConCom is working on new arrangements, which will be
published on the FilKONtario website, and we will
have an update here as soon as possible.

Together with Janet Morris and her »bunch« around the Heroes-in-Hell series, we have launched a context »Whom do you ...«
To give you a short glimpse of what the Heroes-in-Hell group is about, we invited one of them to have an interview with us: Sarah Snyder Gray Hulcy. Her importance is beyond messure - so the group calls her »Muse«. There actually is no better person for an interview on the »Heroes-in-Hell«-group.
