Sophie Cookson

Sophie Cookson wurde am 15. Mai 1990 in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, England, geboren, und wuchs in Sussex auf.

Cookson verließ die Universität, um eine Ausbildung an der "Oxford School of Drama" zu beginnen, die sie 2013 abschloss.

"I was really sporty and loved singing. I started off doing musical theater.

I left university to go to drama school. So I was a bit of a black sheep.
I grew up in Sussex. I moved to Suffolk, but then I went to drama school at the Oxford School of Drama, which is gorgeous because it's really secluded, with no distractions." (1)

2013 gab Sophie Cookson in der Rolle der GRACE MOHUNE in der TV-Serie "MOONFLEET" ihre Debüt als Schauspielerin.

Nach ihren Rollen in den beiden Fernsehfilmen "MEIN UNBEKANNTES HERZ" (2014) und "UNKNOWN HEART", bekam sie die Rolle der ROXY in "KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE (2014), für die auch Emma Watson im Gespräch war.

"I was training at drama school for three years, working hard for this. I left drama school early to do a job in May, and by August, I was involved in things.
So it was very quick. I've had a bit of time to get my head around it, but it's still mental seeing pictures of me and Michael Caine in the same room. "Did that happen? Yeah, it did." (2)

Nach ihrer Rolle in "THE HUNTSMAN & THE ICE QUEEN", wird Sophie Cookson 2017 in den Filmen "EMPEROR", "ASHES IN THE SNOW", "THE CRUCIFIXION" und als ROXY in "KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE" zu sehen sein.
